Product Update: BatchBox Email Forwarding and Inline Add on Contact Detail
BatchBook is not only contact management software, it is also communications management software. While BatchBook Contacts tends to get most of the pub around here, today is a special day for BatchBook Communications.
Introducing BatchBox
We’ve had customers tell us that when they are on the phone with a client, they have their “Log Communication” screen open so they can take notes and easily save them alongside their client’s contact info. That’s great for phone calls and chats, but what about emails? We don’t want to make you copy and paste your emails into BatchBook.
Now, with BatchBox email forwarding, you can send emails directly to BatchBook. BatchBook will automatically store the email as a Communication, attach it to the relevant contacts (and create a new contact, if needed), and retain any attachments.

Inline Add
As much as I love the Communications tab, sometimes I just don’t want to leave a Contact Detail just to log a communication. So, we have a new feature I’m calling “Inline Add”. When you are looking at someone’s Contact Detail, right in the sidebar you can log a communication or even add a To-Do.

We’re obsessed with user feedback, so please let us know what you think of these new features!

This looks great… I’m currently using Highrise and the ability to e-mail into the system is a necessary feature. I’ll be giving BatchBook a try…
Thanks Aaron! We love feedback so please let us know what you think!
