Formstack and Batchbook: Data-gathering powerhouse!
We’ve had web forms built in to Batchbook for some time now. We created them with intent to allow super-simple forms integration that would allow our customers to gather contact information from a web page and have it automagically sent to their Batchbook accounts. In the short term, we strove for simplicity, providing the basics of what folks needed with the intention of integration with a proper form-building service at a future date.
So when our friends over at Formstack let us know that they were working on a way to get data from their incredibly robust form builder into Batchbook, we were super excited. We’ve been using and loving Formstack for a while now and they’ve been great partners in The Small Business Web. The team over there is awesome at what they do and their commitment to customer service is right in step with ours.
Here’s Chris Lucas from Formstack: “The Batchbook integration just made sense from our standpoint. It is one of the most requested integrations we receive from customers and potential customers…and really, we wanted to integrate with another company who’s passionate about the web, loves small businesses, and appreciates their customers like we do.” See, we said they were awesome!
Formstack’s web form creator gives you an easy-to-use HTML form builder that allows your forms to be integrated with your website without any programming, software, or special skills. Click, drag and type your way to professional forms in minutes.
The best part about this new partnership? All the heavy lifting is done on the Formstack side of things – enter in your Batchbook domain and API key in your form settings and you can easily map your Formstack fields right to your Batchbook fields – including your SuperTags. Excellent (and easy!)
If you’re not familiar with Formstack, sign up for a free account and see what all the fuss is about. The Formstack folks have done a great job of explaining the nuts and bolts of how to get this integration up and running. They even made a video, which we’ve posted below. Check it out and if you still have questions, drop a note to support@batchbook.com or leave us a comment.
Happy data gathering from your friends at BatchBlue (and your new friends at Formstack!)

I hope this type of integration comes from Wufoo soon also. Long time Wufoo customer and combo of Batchbook with it would be awesome
Hey Darrin. We’ve got Wufoo in our sights as a potential partner. We get lots of requests for them.
If we had more traffic at my store, I would use this. For right now, though, we don’t get any web traffic at all (and it would be too expensive to make that a priority right now). So we just gotta wait to get more foot-traffic in the store, and then maybe I’ll setup a station for them to input their information.
Either way, I still love BatchBlue. Just upgraded my account this morning, actually.
Another vote for Wufoo. That would be terrific.
The Formstack free account doesn’t give you access to 3rd party integration, for anyone wondering.
Here is another vote for Wufoo!
I think it is a much more common tool than formstack – at least of the people that I know.
